After a few days with my friend Khemajoti on the Sharpness Canal, and a few days sorting things out I took the ferry to Northern Spain and drove South to Guhyaloka. I especially liked the province of Cuenca – it reminds me of the Rocky Mountains, although not so high the landscape is reminiscent of the country.
I spent just over two weeks at Guhyaloka including three days at Uttaraloka where we hold our longer retreats. I’m hoping to facilitate a couple of three month retreats there each year for the next few years.
From Guhyaloka I went to Valencia to see some old friends and then drove back North visiting more of the beautiful Spanish country and then back by Ferry to the UK.
