Finally left my last mooring – I’d been away to Adhisthana for a week long Anagarika Convention – 23 women and 5 men – which was enjoyable and gave me confidence in our Order – so many people expressing the same ideals that often seem eclipsed by the fact that many members of our Order live quite conventional lives. Also spent a few days in Bristol seeing friends, getting some dental work done and having my second accordion lesson (I make a little progress). I’ve also given the boat engine a full service – rather overdue but satisfying.
I left the last mooring today but didn’t get far because of the cold snowy weather – the hydraulic system was too cold to lift a bridge so I was stuck.
