Greetings from Maine Manjuvajra....Lovely to catch up with you via the cosmos... note you continue to write...I still have the haiku you left after a Porter's Landing visit so many years ago. Delighted you enjoyed Ireland. I visit there each year....Beara Peninsula, Anam Cara Artist and Writer's Retreat. I sometime write, often paint and enjoy sitting at
Dzogechn Beara Retreat Center (seems to be halfway between Maine and Tibet) Now an ordained member of the Order of Interbeing, I give you a deep bow of gratitude for driving us to Bostor to hear Thay on one of his early US visits.

Be well......know that your time at Arayaloka was of great value to me.

Great blue-brown boat. Maybe the most beautiful colour combination I can think of.

And give my love to Don, Manjuvajra. I keep thinking of him and I really wish him well. Both of you, actually. And thanks for helping him so much and being close to your Dad during this difficult phase.

May all Buddhas protect and help you.

Vivid memories arise… hi Manjuvajra! Good to read how things develop. Funny, the German word for develop, “sich entwickeln”, is reflexive. As if things would “develop themselves”, literally translating. But of course it’s all hard work, and walls don’t really paint themselves. So I hope your common efforts have been and will be effective and make a difference. And besides, that work has been and will be fun and in harmony. And that there’s enough fire wood.
I myself enjoy the benefits of central heating and hot water supply and all. Berlin is still white and frosty (-7°C this night). So I’m feeling a bit like a comfort seeking sissy when I think of you guys. But still I kept clearing our backyard from ice and snow, which was and is an ongoing job this winter. Soon I will be going to the island of Amrum (North Sea) for a 10 days’ vacation, starting on 1st March. I am very much looking forward to long long walks along the sea.
Say hello to all members of the team and wish them well, and also to retreatants who might remember me, especially to Sanghapala. I hope you all are in good health, brothers in the Dharma.
